My name is Jules Robert, and over 19 years ago, my family faced a challenge that many parents dread: head lice. It all started when my daughter, then just 8 years old, came home from school with an itchy scalp and the unwelcome visitors. My wife and I immediately sprang into action, purchasing RID and Nix from the store and meticulously following the instructions to rid her long, beautiful hair of the lice.
To our dismay, the lice returned the very next day. We repeated the treatments four more times, but the resilient pests kept coming back. Frustration and disbelief set in as we realized that the lice were growing resistant to the poisons and pesticides in the products we were using. In a heartbreaking decision, my wife had to cut most of our daughter’s long hair to end the lice nightmare. It was a truly sad day for our daughter.
At the time, I was working as a creator for a large national candy company, specializing in concepts and formulations. I had a knack for creating and researching formulas, and I decided to channel my skills into developing a solution that would truly eliminate head lice naturally, without the use of poisonous chemicals and pesticides.
Months of research led me to discover that certain essential oils could help eliminate head lice, but it wasn’t enough. I needed one more super ingredient that would dissolve the lice instantly. I consulted with a chemist I worked with on candy formulas, and he introduced me to an enzyme that could dissolve the protective outer shell of lice and nits on contact. This enzyme is natural, safe, and effective every time, because lice cannot become immune to it. It works mechanically not chemically.
With this newfound knowledge, I created a super formula combining essential oils and protease enzymes. I gave the formula to a lice-picking company, and they were amazed at how it destroyed lice and super lice on contact by dissolving their outer protective shells. It left the hair smelling fresh, conditioned and most importantly lice-free.
